Privacy, in plain English
Last updated 23 October 2026. The Employability Score is in beta.
Short version: we read your CV or LinkedIn PDF once to work out your score. We keep nothing unless you sign in and save your story. You can delete everything at any time. We never sell your data, and your employer never sees you.
What we read
- The CV, LinkedIn PDF or text you upload. We pull out your roles, dates, employers, education, certificates, skills and languages.
- We do not read your name, age, gender, photo, address, email or phone number into your profile.
- The answers you give to our follow-up questions, such as your target role.
- Your salary, only if you choose to add it. Your salary is never part of your score.
How we read it
- An AI service (Anthropic's Claude) reads the document text and gives us back the facts listed above. It does not use your document to train its models. Every fact is checked against your document, and anything we cannot find in it is dropped.
- Your score is worked out by plain code from those facts, so the same profile always gets the same score.
- We never contact LinkedIn or your employer, and we never scrape LinkedIn. We only use what you give us.
What we keep
- If you don't sign in: nothing. Your document is read and thrown away. Your story lives only in your browser tab.
- If you sign in and save: your email address, the facts we read from your document, your answers and your story, so you can see it again on any device and watch your score move.
- If you add your salary and tick the box: your monthly salary next to a copy of your score, so we can test the score against real pay. We only ever report pay in groups of 30 people or more. Without the tick, your salary is not stored.
- If you save a spot in the founding pool and tick the box: how open you are to a move and a salary band (for example "45,000 to 55,000 SEK a month", never the exact number). Nothing is sent to any employer. Matching is not live yet; we will ask you again before anything is shared.
- Feedback you send us, with your account if you are signed in.
- Counts of how many people reach each step (for example "reached the reveal"), with no name, account, IP address or device id attached.
- To stop abuse and keep costs in check, we count uploads per IP address. We store only a scrambled form of the address that changes every day, and delete it after 7 days.
Cookies and tracking
No advertising cookies and no tracking cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies. If you sign in, your browser keeps a sign-in token so you stay signed in.
Who handles your data
- Supabase (database and sign-in), hosted in Stockholm, Sweden.
- Cloudflare (hosting the website and page counts).
- Anthropic (the AI that reads your document). It may keep the text for a short time to check for abuse, under its data processing terms.
- Google, only if you choose "Continue with Google". We get your name and email from Google, nothing else.
We never sell your data. Recruiters and employers never see you unless one day you choose to let them, and you can change that at any time.
Deleting your data
Signed in? Open Account, then Delete my data. It deletes your account, your saved story, any pay report and any founding-pool spot straight away. You can also withdraw your pay report on its own.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY). To ask us anything, use the Feedback button in the app.
Who we are
The Employability Score is run by Miguel Perea, Stockholm, Sweden, who is responsible for your data.
